FOOD PRODUCERS & TRADERS

GingerBeard’s Preserves are based in Bristol and make awesome tasting, award winning craft preserves. Everything is homemade in small batches to ensure quality, using no artificial preservatives, pectins or gelling agents. They love playing around with ingredients and especially pairing beers with carefully selected ingredients to create unique products with great depth and flavour. Our sauces, chutneys, pickles and more are forged to complement cuisines from around the world.
In their core range you'll find Milk Stout Chipotle BBQ Sauce or No Rest: A Garlic Pickle for Dancers as well as more traditional products with a GingerBeard’s Preserves twist like our Lime Pickle or our Mango Chutney.

Now in their fourth year, Andy and James are going through up to a tonne of pork a week. Everything is handmade and will remain that way in order to preserve the artisan texture, flavours and look. They moved into their new production unit on the farm last year (complete with very sexy Himalayan salt brick wall) but are now already looking to expand in order to meet the growing demand. The boys are committed to producing the best product with the best of Somerset ingredients wherever they can. We are now regularly in several markets across Somerset and Bristol, at festivals around the country, in pubs, restaurants and delis.

We do everything by hand – we don’t do ‘volume’ products like a supermarket. We do have a very small selection of pre-packaged products which some customers find convenient but the vast majority of products sold on the stalls are prepared that morning or the night before.
